Beckwith
Live your best life among the lilacs.
The Township of Beckwith is located on the most easterly side of Lanark County, set on the banks of beautiful Mississippi Lake.
-
The Township includes the Mississippi Lake and River, the Jock River, fertile farmland, wide-open spaces, forests, well-planned subdivisions, protected wetlands, and historical hamlets. Amidst farmers’ fields and forests, a network of trails and expansive recreational parkland is open to the public.

Commercial and industrial ventures are as diverse and productive as the natural landscape. Lanark County is the maple syrup capital of Ontario, and Beckwith partakes in the season’s harvest. Beckwith boasts approximately 100 commercial businesses within the Township and has a progressive by-law that encourages home-based small businesses to settle within the Township.
